Defining an Art Brush –

1. What is a Scatter brush? Scatters the graphic
2. What is a Art brush?  An art brush displays the brush differently depending on how long you drag with which ever tool
3. Why is the direction important when making an art brush? Depending on what way you created the brush it could make the brush paint the image upside down or sideways
4. What is the benefit of using the pencil tool versus the brush tool when using custom brush strokes?  We do not have to undo you can  just redraw it and it starts a new one how ever you like it
5. Upload a .JPG file of the apples with custom stem brushes that you create.

Using the Transform Panel & Defining a Pattern Brush –

1. What is a Pattern brush?  It is a brush that repeats a pattern
2. How is a stroke put from the outside to the inside? You align it in the stroke panel it has a little icon the can you click on the alignment
3. How can the width or height of an object be determined? You can change the width and height of an object by going to the transform menu text on you menu bar
4. Can addition or subtraction be used inside of an objects width or height? You  can use it when you create a copy in object/transform/move panel to set a formula to slightly or greatly change the range you want the copied image to be moved
5. Upload a .JPG file of a custom pattern brush applied to a circle.
